Greenhouse | Post-Bingo Day #3

[ The bingo has actually been incredibly exhausting on so many levels, but at least with how things have been when was growing up, it isn't as bad as it could have been. Some of the tasks were pretty fun, plus they gave as an "excuse" to let loose a bit. Maybe by the end of this she will actually be letting herself be herself instead of who she thinks she has to be.

"Fuck the rules" really needs to be something she hears more often.

Rather than aiming for the bingo prizes for just herself, however, she had a few people in mind and it just turns out that Allen was one of them. The Chinchillas probably had to dig around alternate universes to get hold of the items, but as she leans against the tree, there is a bottle of wine along with two glasses and a box of chocolates by her side. She left dinner early to get here earlier than she said she would just because it's a habit by this point. Having a rule in your country about being 13 minutes early to meetings or being punished does that to you.

Hopefully that dumb law gets eradicated one day.

I'm not certain what a "tank" is, but... it does sound a bit uncommon even to me if it's something to do with warfare.

[he is doing his best not to shovel all the chocolates into his mouth right now because they are tasty and also his appetite though.]

But you were certainly right to say those chocolates from before didn't measure up to these, Miss Sonia.

It is...similar to a car but with a canon attached to it, yes. However... it is better that everyone is prepared when things are insecure at the moment.

[ But she does brighten at the compliment about the chocolate. ]

In a way, yes. Though it is much sturdier. A tank is like a movable shield. It can take a lot of damage.

[ She reaches for the box of cocolates, only holds up one for him to take instead, as if encouraging him to carry on. ]

[that is still giving him all the weirdest mental images but he's starting to figure it's something like Ark which he wouldn't be able to get unless he saw it first.

[ She makes a small pleased noise when he keeps eating, but other than that she isn't really bringing it to any attention. ]

It is... a difficult place at times. [ She looks sheepish. ] There have been attempts of coup d'etats, terrorism is still an issue...

However, I do think things will work out eventually.

It's always good to hope for the best, even when things are... not their best.

...Is that how you get by?

[ The question comes out softly, and she even holds up another chocolate for him to take as a makeshift apology for asking about it. ]

[his smile softens a bit at the more serious question.]

Mm... more or less. But also... even in spite of the terrible things that have happened, I've found... people tend to be far kinder than I'd use to give them credit for.

Knowing that also helps.

[ She can't help but smile at that too, if only because despite everything what he's told her thus far, she's definitely glad that he's found people who will be there for him and who he can rely on. ]

Then I am grateful you have those people.

[ She's a lot more awkward in leaning to take the chocolate for herself though, her hand moving to tuck her hair behind her ear first with her eyes peering up at him at the same time. She bites her teeth into it gently, but even when trying to take it carefully her lips end up brushing against his fingers anyway. ]
