[ She leaves it there though, quickly getting ready and heading out of her room towards the library. She's been there often enough now that she doesn't really need to think about the way at all. She finds herself outside the library in only a few minutes, she'd really just said fifteen because she likes to get there a bit earlier as it makes her feel more at ease. It's more like home this way. ]

[Usually, he does like to show off and teleport himself in, but today... today, Twisted Fate is strolling up to the doors of the library instead, hands in his pockets. He approaches Sonia, then stands beside her, offering a small smile.]

Good to see your face, sunflower.

[ Well doing it to the library isn't the best of ideas either, even if they're just outside it, her excitement might leak through the walls. ]

And you as well. Shall we enter?

[ Her own smile is wider, but that's nothing unusual anyway. ]

Sure thing. Let's get goin'.

[He opens the doors and slides inside, hands in pockets as he looks around inside. He hasn't spent too much time researching hell of a lot in here, but it seems like now's a good time to really commit to certain things.]

What is it, anyway, that you're hopin' to accomplish in this research?

Okie dokie! [ She steps in after him, her hands clasped in front of herself. Her thumb idly brushes over her bracelet, eyes instantly looking for the row they need in the library, though she falters at his question. ]

Um... [ It's harder to hide here, than on the magitek. ] I may have wished... to one day attempt a ritual like this myself, one day.

[There will be a lot of books to go through, but Twisted Fate fathoms that they won't be going anywhere. There'll be plenty of time for him and Sonia to sort through all of this.

He raises a brow at her.]

What would you want with a demon?

[ They won't be, at least not for a while. She smiles back at him, trying to not be off put by how this really is not what a princess should be saying like she normally would. Still. ]

Perhaps ask it some questions? I suppose for me it is more that I would like to gain knowledge about them more than anything else.

That's fair. I imagine a demon that's been summoned throughout its life would have plenty of knowledge to share.

[And he himself is guilty of that.]

There wasn't somethin' specific you were lookin' to know?

Exactly. Though I... would have to think of the questions, I believe. My thoughts have been rather occupied as of late.

[ Hard to think of questions you'd want to ask demons when you half consider yourself one after your past sins... ]

[For a moment, Twisted Fate glances over some of the books he's paused by before determining that most of them are probably not what they're looking for.]

You wanna talk about it? I don't particularly mind listenin'.

[ She shifts her hands, clasping them together in front of herself. Her face doesn't change for the most part, and instead she looks sheepish. ] It may not be the appropriate time for that.

Have you made a cover story for the next mission yet?

[ It's a way of deflecting, anyway. ]

Is there ever an appropriate time for personal conflictions? I reckon not so much. Just know it ain't any trouble if you wanna say somethin', but I'm not gonna corner you 'bout it.

[He slides a book out, and thumbs through it.]

More or less. I'm kinda flyin' by the seat of my pants. Usually how I go.

Sometimes there are... but it really not a problem at all. Just some things I have been thinking over. There is no need to worry.

[ A beat, then she leans to look at him, rather than the book this time. ]

[Another beat, and then he peers at her from the book.]

[ She just smiles widely at him in return. ]

YOlO: you only live once. It means that you take risks because there may not be the opportunity to do something like it again.

[He almost says but that's not always true, considering many, may circumstances -- but ultimately, he sees the point of the saying.

After all, it does kind of apply to him.]

Yeah, I suppose that makes sense. Is that somethin' you buy into?

[ Well, not always but 90% of the time is close enough. ]

Not always, my life is not my own to take chances with, after all.

Yeah, I suppose not.

But if you see the opportunity to get somethin'... somethin' that you need, even if it's risky, that can be worth it. I'd think so, anyway.

That depends on if you have that freedom. [ A beat follows as she looks at his face, smile staying in place. ] I have a duty to perform, first and foremost.

Right. There's that. What with you bein' royalty an' all.

Y'know, for a real long time, I only had myself to worry about. I can't imagine quite bein' in your situation, but I know I've got more than me to consider. So I suppose I've got a bit more of an appreciation for that now.

Mm. [ She hums softly. ] This is all I have ever known, however. In turn, I cannot imagine only worrying for myself. What changed? If you do not mind my asking?

[ To be fair, she actually doesn't know who he knows or formed connections with her other than herself. She tries not to pry too much, just because she is still wary about opening up as well. It's taken Big Steps for her to open up those she has already talked to here. She waits as he moves though, confused. At least she is quiet when he pulls the egg out, having to press her hands to her mouth when she almost shouts out. ]

So it is like you are having a child of your own, is it not? Even if you do not know what is inside, it is still exciting.
